June 20, 2025 (8:12pm NDT): This one is a bit of a departure from the usual. This is where I will be keeping all my pertinent notes and photos for what just might be my most... interesting endeavour.

To start, this is a cross-stitch project that largely exists in my head currently.

I got the idea to stitch quilt blocks into a sampler. 24 blocks arranged in a 5x5 square, leaving a signature block for the finished date and my initials.

So that might not sound too bad. But then I was figuring out how to stitch various types of blocks and came to the idea that each block needs to be 60x60 sts in order for them to work out and all be the same size. Now, it's becoming a bit... adventurous lol. 

Um, yeah! Oh, and I've been playing with layout and color and have this in progress which could change but is a rough idea of what I'll be creating 

October 17, 2025 (1:20am NDT): Just filled in the rest of the floss colors I'll be using for this project. Only 24, which is appropriate given I'll be stitching 24 full coverage blocks. I haven't started because I need to order or otherwise acquire a big enough piece of Aida cloth for it.

Plus I should really finish my sampler; only the alphabet and outer borders left!
