Blue & Sleeveless

Sleeveless top knit from mitered rectangles of garter stitch in a blue tonal variegated yarn.

Pattern: Tie-Dyed Boxes by Knitter's Design Team (published in Knitter's Magazine, issue 86, Spring 2007)

Started: July 2007

Finished: August 2007

Made for: Síle aka me

Size made: Ladies Large

Yarn: Patons Canadiana Colours (100% acrylic; 193yds = 85g)
  • 4 balls of "Blueberry Ombre" = 692 yds
Notes: Wanted to make this from moment I bought magazine. Modified armholes by following directions for girls L. I hate big armholes on sleeveless tops! Would make them just a bit smaller if I knit this again for self. (originally added to R@velry on December 17, 2009)

Additional photo:
The other side of top showing differences in how the variegated yarn knit up. Top is reversible so no technical front or back side.
