Autumn in the Highlands

Pattern: lace is from Glasgow Lace by Sharon Shoji  (published in Interweave Knits, Fall 2006)

Finished: September 2007

Made for: Nat

Yarn: Red Heart Soft Touch (100% acrylic; 290yds = 144g)
  • 2 skeins in "Pumpkin" = 562 yds (ball size has changed in intervening years)
Notes: I used the lace pattern from “Glasgow Lace” (InterweaveKnits) to make a capelet for my favorite former Highland dancer :) I used Seed st for all the borders. Wish I'd gotten a photo of the finished piece; Nat loved it
