Sunset Fana

White and soft orange hat in bands of Scandinavian patterns.

Pattern: Fana Cap by Charlene Schurch (published in her book "Hats On! 31 Warm and Winsome Caps for Knitters")

Finished: August 9, 2008

Made for: Nat

Yarn: Bernat Satin (100%; 163yds = 100g)
  • 163 yds in "Silk" (white)
  • 163 yds in "Sunset" (orange)
  • 326 yds total (skein size has changed since project was created)
Notes: AKA the Creamsicle Hat! I should also add that this was a real challenge for me, as I have horrible gauge when doing colorwork. I think it took me 2 weeks to knit this, as I was being careful with it!
Nat absolutely loved this; she insisted on wearing it during dance class!!
