Mostly according to pattern, which came as a kit from Mary Maxim (Knitter’s Cardigan). Originally finished in May 1999. Then I got “Meg Swansen’s Knitting” & fixed some of the goofiness that was bugging me. I modified the bottom ribbing to a hem as it pulled in funny right below my hips. And it’s a signed hem with the date & my initials :) I changed the ribbing of the front bands to garter st with I-cord in a contrast color as well. I added a cable patt down the 2nd sleeve as the first was deadly boring to knit. Also added a band of colorwork roses across the back, because I was getting so sick of the never ending St st of it. So now it’s truly personalized :) (added to R@velry on January 23, 2010)
